Distance and track condition

Korean races range from about 1,000 m to over 2,000 m. Sprints reward early speed; longer races reward stamina. Always check form at a similar distance.

Races are run on sand, and moisture is published as a percentage. Wet sand tends to pack harder and produce faster times. Some horses love wet tracks, others prefer dry ones.
